A COHABITATION MADE IN HELL!!!

The early origin of Fulani herders is most fascinating, and deepened in mystery with widely divergent opinions. Many scholars believe that they are of Judaeo- Syrian origin. However it is generally recognised that Fulani descended from nomads from both North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

They came from the middle east and north Africa and settled into central and west Africa from Senegal region they created the Tekruur Empire which was contemporary to the Ghana Empire then they spread in all the countries in West Africa. The Fulani were the first group of people in West Africa to convert to Islam through jihad, or holy wars and were able to take over much of West Africa and established themselves not only as religious group but also political and economic force. They are missionaries of Islam and continue to conquer much of West Africa.

At the backdrop of this piece of history I conclude that the herders are not Nigerians and today we the people of SOUTHERN KADUNA have found ourselves in a battle of attrition to secure our ancestral inheritance against the herders championed by the same government we voted into power in 2015. The same government have set out 226,770 hectares of land to the foreigners to establish GRAZING RESERVE, and of these total land mass 120,380 hectares (63%) is to supposed to come from Southern Kaduna and I Andrew Augustine Umaru dare to challenge my people to stand against this force marriage through the establishment of GRAZING RESERVES as even a federal legislation that support this move will NEVER get us to surrender our heritage for Jihadist who were never part of our history, and to the government of our state I challenge YOU to have a RETHINK and remember your campaign promises which GRAZING RESERVE was never one of them and grazing reserve will never be a conflict mitigating mechanism as you have perceived between us and the herders but we seek for a legislation against the herders invading our farm lands and ravaging our villages. If you continue to push for this force cohabitation it will be a clear and systematic ploy to formalise land tenure rights to pastoralists and this will only lead to calamitous end and unresolvable conflict.

The herders are running their private businesses through raring of cattle's and there by invading our farms yet you choose to use tax payers hard earn resources to promote this particular ethnic tribe knowing so well that we the people of southern Kaduna will never be given a piece of land in the far North to raise our pigs as such we will NEVER negotiate this proposition and we will never surrender our lands to foreigners to settle and raise their cattle's. My fellow brothers silence in the face of oppression and injustice is an act of cowardice and disservice to our people.

So I call on you all without fear of arrest and rape of right to say NO TO GRAZING RESERVE IN SOUTHERN KADUNA! SAY NO TO GENOCIDE IN SOUTHERN KADUNA, MAKE SOUTHERN KADUNA GREATER AND BETTER.
