THE ATYAP OF NIGERIA, AN EXPRESSION OF IDENTITY THROUGH THE SOCIETY'S ATTIRE

“My culture  my heritage or my identity so the saying goes”
I am bringing to you the Atyap attire  especially those of you that don’t know about it and what each of the colours stands for. Unfortunately, the sample below is showing only the women style but the men can also sew a suitable style.

Below is the meaning of each of the colours :
•    The cyanic Green represents the agricultural base of the Âtyap people in a broad spectrum.

•    The  White represents a Peace-loving people.

•    The maroonic Red represents the Youthfulness and Loving nature of the Âtyap people.
