– Fani-Kayode said he is innocent of all the charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

– He also said the charges against him are politically motivated

The former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode on Friday, July 15, said he is innocent of all the charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Fani-Kayode gained his freedom after 67 days of detention at the EFCC – both Abuja and Lagos – and subsequent remand in a Lagos prison facility.
